Longshaw Infants School
Painting a series of three murals at Longshaw Infants School Blackburn. The first was produced from a selection of designs that the children had made for a 'Healthy Eating mural' to be positioned outside the schools canteen. The mural was a montage of all the different foods that the children enjoyed that were healthy. Below shows a photo of the finished painting with the children whose designs were chosen to form the mural.
The second mural was Numeracy themed -incorporating illustrations based on counting songs with times tables subliminally ( hopefully) placed as backgrounds.

The last section was a Literacy mural with 'Elmer' the patchwork elephant blowing bubbles out of his trunk. the bubbles contained illustrations of favourite books -including 'Miffy', 'Farmer Duck', 'Hairy Maclarey', and 'Little Bear'.
